Let’s look at conservatories as an example: Flat pack conservatories require a lot of work when it comes to furniture, you have to purchase conservatory corner sofas, blackout curtains for the conservatory as well as an electric wall heater for the conservatory. Once you have your ‘key furnishings’ out the way you have to figure out exactly what your soft and decorative furnishings will be and where they’ll all go. Can the mirrors be disassembled from the frame?
Unless the listing says you can disassemble it, then no – you can’t. Because the mirrors are designed to be tightly fitted into the frames, you may find it difficult to remove them without damaging the rattan surrounding the mirror. If the mirror broke, however, it would be easier to take out in smaller pieces. Finding a replacement mirror would involve measuring the diameter and circumference where the new mirror will go.
Can I paint the rattan?
Yes you can, however we recommend taping/covering the mirror so you do not get any paint on it. You may have to treat the rattan with a paint primer before putting on your colour of choice.
How do I hang the mirror on the wall?
Most rattan mirrors won’t come with the extra parts you’ll need to hang it, so you can either hook it with a metal hook, or hang it using string and a nail in the wall.
